Recent Experiences
UIO 2024
We were the first group to serve at the future home of Cumbre Alta, as we beautified their property and got to play and practice with the women’s and youth teams.
CPT 2024
Coach Brendan connected with soccer academies, training programs, and clubs in Cape Town, South Africa. In the future, we dream of taking a group of coaches to study under Ubuntu Football, a professional academy.
COS 2023
We enjoyed hosting Cumbre Alta in Colorado Springs for a bilingual soccer camp. Several Anglers players volunteered to serve the Ecuadorian group while they were here.
Key Partners
Casa Deportiva Cumbre Alta is dedicated to sharing Christ to those around them as they reach the highest level of sports. Founded in Quito, they have a profesional men’s team in the third division and a women’s team in the highest amatuer league in Ecuador. They are growing youth soccer programs around the world, launching other locations in Louisiana and Costa Rica. We have partnered with Cumbre Alta both by sending groups to serve them and by receiving a group from Quito who led a bilingual soccer camp in Colorado Springs.
Soccer Chaplains United facilitates meaningful service opportunities between the faith and soccer communities. They resource soccer equipment for local and global missions projects and develop chaplains that consider and care for the whole person. Whether ministering to an athlete, coach, staff member, alumni, fan, or family member, their chaplains care pastorally for the greater soccer community. We have partnered with Soccer Chaplains United by transporting gear they have acquired to other partners in the developing world.
